The legal drinking age is 18 in Scotland.
Personally I don't think raising or lowering the age will change anything at the moment. According to a statistic I found, three quarters of 15 year olds say they have been drunk at some point. Probably another ten percent lied. Around a quarter of 15 year olds say they have been sold in a shop.
